Luka Starmer

Luka Starmer is a Reno-based multimedia artist and producer experimenting in the juncture of technology and public art. His explorations in projection mapping and animation sometimes result in interactive installations that entice audience participation and illuminate shared spaces. His artwork has been included at events from Reno to Miami, Denver, and Barcelona. Locally, his work has shown at the Nevada Museum of Art, OverGlow digital art exhibit, and Offbeat Music Festival, in addition to numerous one-off experiences.

At Western Lights 2025, Luka produced the festival’s immersive dome projection experience and consulted for various other projection-mapped artworks. Beyond his visual practice, Luka is a musician and DJ. He fosters new creative talent through his work and teaching at the University of Nevada, Reno.
