Patrick Hansen

Denver-based DJ, artist, and designer performing as “artistIQ” with Party Shark DJ collective. Specializes in old school hip hop, funk, and soul with deep crates spanning underground hip hop featuring clever rhymes, head-nodding beats, and creative turntablism. With musical background on guitar and production experience, Hansen incorporates influences from punk, rock, and jazz into his mixing style, creating eclectic sets that honor classic sounds while showcasing creative technical skills. Has performed with choirs and various musical projects throughout 20+ year creative career.

Party Shark crew evolved from livestream broadcasts sharing timeless music with global audiences into performing at bars, clubs, concerts, house parties, gallery openings, video premieres, and skate/snowboard demos. Hansen’s residency includes Instill Saturdays at Bear Creek Distillery in Denver. Beyond DJing, he’s a multidisciplinary artist working in graphic design, software design, painting, skating, snowboarding, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Brings artist’s eye and designer’s precision to curating musical experiences that celebrate hip hop culture’s golden eras.
