Annabelle & The Desert Scrubs
Fallon-based indie pop trio featuring young singer-songwriter-guitarist Anabelle, her father Clay on drums, and bassist Miles. Born from Anabelle’s acoustic folk solo act that she launched at just 12 years old, the band has evolved over four years into a full outfit blending indie pop sensibilities with acoustic folk roots. Anabelle’s beautiful voice carries mature songwriting and seasoned stage presence beyond her years, matched with youthful exuberance and drive. Clay serves as drummer, chaperone, and proudest supporter of his daughter’s musical dreams, while Miles brings fresh energy to the band’s rhythm section.
The Desert Scrubs have become fixtures in northern Nevada’s live music scene, performing at venues including the Fallon Theatre and appearing on the Worst Little Podcast’s Dogwater Studios sessions. Their sound balances intimate acoustic folk storytelling with fuller indie pop arrangements, showcasing Anabelle’s songwriting growth from solo troubadour to bandleader. A promising up-and-coming act in Nevada’s music landscape, they represent the next generation of the region’s singer-songwriters.
