Aaron Jacobs

Aaron Jacobs is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, known for his eclectic and adventurous approach that defies classification. His journey began with hip-hop in the ’90s before discovering jungle and drum & bass in the early 2000s, leading him to acquire turntables and scour for vinyl to satisfy his thirst for hard-to-find grooves. With over 20 years behind the decks, Aaron’s artistic style is driven by a love for all sounds and shapes of music rather than devotion to a single genre, keeping audiences on their toes while maintaining his commitment to solid grooves that keep dance floors moving. His versatility spans deep house, tech house, groovy techno, and he returns to his drum & bass roots under his alter ego Aaron Jakobs.

As co-founder of Wulfpack Records alongside Jamie Schwabl, Aaron has built one of Southern California’s most inclusive party crews and underground music staples dedicated to spreading love, happiness, and unity through music. Under the Wulfpack banner, he curates the Wulfcast guest mix series, manages the record label and event calendar, and helped launch Synergy Festival in 2018—a weekend of non-stop music in the Mojave Desert. Aaron also co-founded Shadow Wulf Records with Drew Blyther and Erin Parisi (Crescendoll), bringing dark techno and minimal sounds to LA’s underground scene. He holds residencies at Burning Man’s legendary DISTRIKT sound camp day parties and Desert Escape, and has released music on labels including M.U.R., Liquid Grooves, Lonely Owl, Stripped Digital, Noise Revolt, and Krafted Digital.
