A Hundred Drums

A Hundred Drums is the stage name of Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Gabrielle Watson, known for her thunderous bass music that blends experimental hip-hop, psychedelic bass, dubstep, and indigenous hand drums. After a decade honing her craft in underground spaces, Watson emerged onto the main stage with her 2021 EP “Enough Is Enough” on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label, a politically powerful project addressing systemic racism and police violence in America.

Watson’s high-octane live performances have taken her across major festivals including Electric Forest, Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, and Bass Canyon, while supporting REZZ on her 2022 North American tour. Co-founder of B-Side, an underground dubstep event company in LA, she continues to push boundaries with her genre-defying sound that aims to align heartbeats to the BPM and unite audiences through the primal pulse of the dancefloor.
