Reno Night Market returns to raise money for Western Lights Festival

Illuminating Reno’s Future Through Art & Community

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Western Lights Festival is Reno’s first-ever illuminated art festival, designed to light up the Biggest Little City with an extraordinary blend of light, art, and technology. The inaugural festival took place in February and its creators are bringing it back February 19-21, 2026.

In order to pay for it, organizers are hosting the Reno Night Market. Those event organizers, Rachel Macintyre, placemaking manager with the Redevelopment Agency, and Megan Miller, project director for Western Lights, stopped by Morning Break to invite the community to the night market happening this weekend.

Guests will get to wander through a dynamic lineup of experiences including:

  • Sunset fire show
  • Local makers and artists
  • Food trucks
  • Live music and DJs
  • Illuminated art installations
  • Live painting
  • Makers stations
  • Circus performances
