Pizza Fingers

Pizza Fingers is a pop grunge band from South Lake Tahoe, California, born from cosmic destiny and the magic of a local dive bar jam night. When four kindred souls—Sam (lead vocals and occasional guitar), Jen (percussion), Derek (bass), and Tommy (lead guitar)—found themselves on stage together one Tuesday night, the chemistry was instant and undeniable. Fueled by mountain air, late-night debates about pizza toppings, and the occasional misplaced guitar pick, they quickly became a tight-knit crew crafting original music and covering favorite songs with reckless abandon. Their self-described sound is “a lil greasy, slightly crusty, unapologetically cheesy”—imagine if a garage rock band got lost in a psychedelic pizzeria and never found their way out.

Pizza Fingers delivers funky, spicy grooves with a spirit that’s greasy in all the right ways. The four-piece features Sam as the full-time dance machine who believes “clothes are a prison,” Jen as the human metronome and self-proclaimed reptile enthusiast, Derek as the bass sorcerer and true Lynchian who philosophizes that “a plane is just a temporary star,” and Tommy (sometimes “Tommy Bonebody”) as the shred lord who admits to being “zooted emotionally.” Together, they create originals that make your soul groove while bringing high-energy performances to venues throughout the Tahoe region.
